Wednesday - Time to Head Home

We were up at 6:00 AM and left the mooring ball at 7:00 AM. Headed toward Sopers Hole, we witnessed a beautiful sunrise and an incredible full, double rainbow, both within about 45 minutes of each other.

If you have to leave the BVI, that was a pretty cool way to close out the trip.....

Tuesday - Sandy Spit Day

Tuesday morning, we had to head to Sopers Hole to retrieve one of our passports. Long story......

Then we decided to spend 45 minutes or so on Sandy Spit. Well, about 3 hours later, we were still there. It was Roger's birthday, so we had something to celebrate, and we had one of those newfangled, high-tech coolers to test out. The cooler only held nine beers, so we made a few trips back and forth in the dinghy to restock the Yeti......err, I mean Cuisinart.

After a laid back afternoon, we moved the boat to Great Harbor and took the dinghy down to White bay for a great dinner at Soggy Dollar again. Coincidentally, it was the chef's birthday as well, so we go a picture of her with Roger.

Monday - Off to White Bay for Business

We left Scrub Island around 9:30 AM Sunday for a sail to White Bay. Mother Nature did not cooperate - no wind. It was almost like she thought we didn't need a Painkiller or something. Thankfully, those two engines on the boat worked, so we arrived anyway.

First stop - Soggy Dollar. It was very crowded, but we made the best of it. Painkiller, swim. Painkiller, Adirondack chairs.....

Then we strolled down to One Love for the Board Meeting of the LFC. A quick motion, followed by a unanimous vote, and it was back to fun.

The walk back to the dinghy had a great backdrop......

Panthers Sunday, umm, I Mean Scrub Island Sunday

Sunday morning, we left the North Sound, and headed southwest. Ken had reserved a slip at the dock of Scrub Island. Scrub Island is a swanky resort, and we really can't figure out why they keep letting the yahoos from the Carolinas come back. But since they were, we jumped on it.

This was our view while watching the Panthers on TV. It didn't suck....

The boat, happy to be tucked into such a nice place.

Saturday - To the North Sound

We left Anegada for a very slow sail back to the North Sound. Lunch was a no-brainer - a burger at Fat Virgin. The NFL playoffs were on people's minds, and we proudly let people know that we were Panthers fans.

Then we grabbed a mooring ball at Saba Rock. We did the usual Bitter end tour, complete with frozen drinks and an iguana for entertainment. After happy hour at Saba Rock, we grilled chicken on the boat. It was great, relaxing day.
